About the Ebook
My first day at Blurb was April 18, 2007. Almost 4 years ago now.
At the time, I had a new Canon Elph, my first digital camera.
And then I started to look at a LOT of other people's photography in the books that Blurb customers make. I saw a lot of bad and I learned to recognize what made it bad. I saw a lot of good and I knew I wanted to aspire to that goodness myself.
I opened a Flickr account.
I experimented.
I knew I wanted a better camera and in January of 2009, I bought a Canon G9. Five months later, I bought my first DSLR, a Canon EOS Rebel. Within a year, I bought a new lens, a 50 mm f1.4 in pursuit of the elusive depth of field. This past Christmas, I received another wonderful lens, a 100 mm macro.
I still don't think that I'm good, yet. But I've improved tremendously.
So here's what happened.
