Describing Antarctica with mere words does not do it justice. It is a continent like no other where the silence is deafening, where you can be alone without feeling lonely and where you live completely in the moment because the sensory overload you are experiencing leaves no room for reflections on the past or plans for the future. I recently spent three weeks exploring the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and Antarctica. It was a collection of highlights, experienced in what felt like a magical bubble, such is the paradox of time when travelling. I share some of these experiences with you in this photography book.
Through the intersection of my travel, writing and photography passions, I share my experiences to inspire others to create their own. Motivated by a determination to "live" life instead of simply "existing", I am energised by exploring the world we live in and inspired by those paving their own paths in life.
