Pictorial - my nephews trek to Everest Base Camp raising money for Facing the World Charity. I went out to Nepal to support them and my tour around Nepal is also shown by the photos I have taken. Photos of the trek were supplied by Juling, Stephen & Christopher Ong. A couple of photos of myself on tour were taken by my sister.
Born and educated in Cheltenham and the eldest daughter of Ernie and Ivy Cole. Wendy spent 24 years with the Cheltenham & Gloucester Building Society mostly in Training & Personnel. After living in Sweden for 4 years, she returned to the UK and became Assistant Secretary to The Surrey County Golf Union. This was followed by just over 7 years working as Ladies' Secretary at The Berkshire Golf Club until retirement in March 2011.
Wendy's loves to travel has taken her to many parts of the world and she enjoys most types of photography but particularly wild life. She has many interests and plays golf to a handicap of 21 at The Army Golf Club near Fleet in Hampshire.
It was fantastic to be in Kathmandu when my nephews completed their trek to Everest Base Camp raising money for the charity Facing the World. At the same time a wonderful two weeks were had by myself and my sister exploring Nepal.
