Of all the varied types of projects that I have been involved with over the years, I have never sought to publish any of my own short stories. This volume contains nine recent attempts that were written in the last half of the last decade. The themes explored in the following pages range from childhood reminiscence to emotional narratives inspired by the onset of middle age and the passing of others.
Though I do not claim any great expertise as a writer of short story fiction, my experience in creating short film and the many subsequent attempts at writing feature length screen plays will hopefully provide enough of a foundation for the edification of the first time reader of my prose.
