In October, 2012, we undertook a photographic journey clockwise around Iceland. Located near the Arctic Circle where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, Iceland is a country of contrasts. Less than 2 hours flying time from Europe, with a population of only about 330,000 (most of whom live in Reykjavik), the landscape has a wild beauty and pristine remoteness. We hope our photographs convey some of its magic.
