about the cover, faces of the bayon, was one of the iconic photos that drew me to visit cambodia for photography. while i was excited to capture some of the country, the people, and the culture, i had already set my mind on this image before i ever boarded a plane. i felt the subject would work well for a high contrast, detailed look.

this book marks my second attempt at documenting some of my photographic creative growth process while traveling. many of the images in this book are a creative stretch for me. i had to experiment by letting go of a firm grasp on low iso and later push the contrast and blacks in the post processing part of the image creation.
