Seasons of Enchantment represents a twenty-seven week photographic journey while working and playing in New Mexico from January 2010 to October 2011. The diversity of photographs in this volume only begins to touch on the diversity of geography, ecosystems, climate, culture and peoples of this special place.
Dr. Haines was born and reared in Western Maryland. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Following a gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Chicago, he entered private practice in Pensacola, Florida. After 31 years, Dr. Haines retired from office practice in 2008. Since then, he has worked part-time as a gastroenterology hospitalist, initially in Albuquerque, New Mexico, now in Pensacola, Florida. His off time is devoted to his life-long passion for photography.
