About the Ebook
My artwork is intended to display light, but not light for light’s sake. Color is needed to differentiate. Pure light and pure darkness have in common a blankness which reflects a form of nothingness. Light needs to be filled in to have an existence.
My experience has been inflected by episodes of terrifying darkness. I’m impelled to correct this imbalance in my life and which is increasingly encroaching upon the world upon not just me, but the people around me and throughout the world in general.
There seems a new Dark Age developing when it comes to the arts in general. My purpose is to preserve and advance in the face of adversity.
