Frank Feldman was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1926. In 1938, he moved
to England, where he lived with a maternal aunt and uncle. He completed his education in England and served as an intelligence officer in the British Army. Over 80 members of his family ultimately died in the Holocaust.
Mr. Feldman began his career in professional journalism as editor in the Reuters news agency in London. After moving to Germany he directed his own press agency, publishing worldwide over 9,000 articles, essays, travelogues, and short stories.
The author writes from his home in Germany near the North Sea coast.
