About the Ebook
Although the majority of the trees in Yosemite are Evergreens, there are Black Oaks, Big Leaf Maples, Dogwoods and other deciduous trees that can produce vivid autumn colors . The cooler temperatures in the high elevation regions of the park often result in autumn color appearing in early October The warmer temperatures in the valley usually delays the onset of autumn color until later in October. Halloween frequently is near the peak of autumn color.
The images were taken over many years initially with film cameras (4x5 view cameras and medium format) and later with digital cameras.
