uerg Kaufmann, born in Switzerland in 1968, has been engaged in photography for more than 10 years. His main focus is yachting racing and travel reportage. Sailing has been his passion since the early childhood. Beyond shooting, Jürg is also engaged in international sailing regattas as a sailor and as a match race umpire, where the ability to anticipate the maneuvers of the boat is a key element. This skill helps to capture the intense sailing moments. Travelling and shooting for many years in the Asian and the South American continent was the start of the passionate for reportage photography. He spends some time in Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Burma, Singapore, Peru, Venezuela and many more.
