REMOTE CONTROL is a re-interpretation of home movies shot in the 70’s by my father. The attempt is to save the past, as captured by the movie, and turn it into stillness. For this reason light and colours have been dramatically reduced or altered and the loss of information and details reflects the actual loss of parents, houses, stories and memories. This series is then a detached exploration into a past unreal, and not experienced, as I wasn’t born yet nor appear anywhere.
