About the Ebook
A portrait of the Salton Sea, Southern California, featuring images of the Wetlands, residents and visitors, as well as landscapes. This lake, which is located in the Colorado Basin, is in danger of drying up.
This photographic document is about the wetlands at the Salton Sea, that were created to help clean the rivers up that run into it. The second section features portraits of some of the visitors and residents. The third section includes images of the beautiful and fascinating landscapes that I found at the Salton Sea.

Since having driven by the Salton Sea in August 2005, I have returned again and again in order to document it, as it is an ever changing place with an uncertain future. Other photographic documentaries I am in the process of include Remains of Towns in the Mojave Desert (i am an obsessed desert rat), as well as (closer to my side of the world), a documentation of the London Regents Canal and Houseboats.
