Chet Jelinski was born in Newark, NJ in 1955. In the year 1970, when the Beatles broke up, he became a big John Lennon fan for the next five years and was stunned when many began talking like Lennon was a Christian, upon his murder in 1980. This book examines The Life and Death of John Lennon from a Christian Perspective, as Jelinski himself became a Christian in '75 and sadly saw no evidence that John Lennon ever became one. It was written, the author says, because no one else to his knowledge has ever bothered to examine Lennon in this way. Many will incorrectly interpret this book as being anti-Lennon, but the author merely examines the truth about the man who once sang "All I want is the truth, just gimme some truth" and then complies with John's wish.
