Because Someone Rescued Me uses pictures to share the stories of cats and dogs who were adopted from the Southern Ocean County (NJ) Animal Facility. The 80 page book shows 17 families and the pets they have brought into their homes. The photographs depict the happiness that humans and animals alike share as a result of the adoptions. All profits from the sale of this book will be donated to the Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter, a nonprofit group that supports the care and rescue of homeless pets.
